Battery Tender Waterproof 800 12V Battery Charger is a compact 800 milliamp battery charger that has all the charge characteristics of its cousin the Battery Tender Junior. It incorporates highly efficient surface mount technology electronic components. The interior is completely encapsulated, protected from shock, vibration, and moisture by an electrically insulating, thermally conductive, flame retardant, UL recognized, synthetic epoxy resin compound. It is tough, affordable, and a strong, innovative battery charging solution and is no larger than a standard computer mouse yet packs 800 millamp of pure constant current charging power. Coupled with a brain which is the IC chip, the charger will constantly monitor, charge, and then maintain the battery even while totally submersed under water. It is perfect for all outdoor types of ATVs, watercraft, motorcycles, boats, or anywhere where water is a threat. This unit will work anywhere in the world with an international universal input range of 100-240 AC volt at 50/60 Hertz. An optional 25 feet extension cord (part number 081-0148-25) is sold separately.

We have had no "dead battery" instances since we began using the device. ur 2000 Mercedes Benz C230 developed an electrical current drain that resulted in a dead battery ir the car sat for two or three days between uses. Needless-to-say we are very happy campers. The device was as described on the amazon.com web site and shipped within one day if placing the order. My choices were to spend several hundred dollars casing the short in the front instrument panel or purchasing a $32 automatic battery tender. The battery tender has worked well.
Unit is built very well. Works great. I use it to top off my scooter & car batteries when they sit a long time.
It was only a few dollars more. These Tenders have been around for a long time. If it prolongs the life of the battery for a year or more it will have easily paid for itself. The cost of the Deltran is about 1/3 of the cost of the battery in my bike. They are dependable and sensible. It wasn't until recently that I discovered the waterproof version.
I couldn't ask for a better trickle charger. I bought this charger to keep my motorcycle battery up to speed. It does that without overcharging or overheating the battery.
It arrived in a few days from Amazon and works perfectly. Based on Honda's recommendadionin the manual for a charger that puts out 800 milliamps the people at Battery Tender said this was the unit I should use to keep the generator battery charged. Amazon also had the best price I found in shopping around. I have had 2 of the older standard Battery Tenders for probably 20 years on my cars and they still work perfectly. I got this one because I recently got a HONDA EU3000 generator and it has an on-board motorcycle battery for it's electric start feature.
